Not Attic Ladder but Loft Ladder

If you don’t know what the loft ladders are, please read on and I’ll give you a quick introduction.
First of all loft ladders are used to access the attic area of properties and they are foldaway ladders attached to the top of a hatch door that can be opened down and the ladder unfolded when it needed and closed away when not in use.

Great post as usual! Have not found another site that goes into this much info on attic ladders! I live in Melbourne, moved from England a few years ago. It is a lot more difficult to source a proper loft ladder here. Over there they are all over the place…

At least some good information on the topic. It is challenging to find good stuff on attic ladders. I am writing an assignment on stairs and alternatives solutions and there seem to be a lack of good info on the net. It helped me in my assignment. Thanks a lot. Cheers Alex
